HERMAN A. HAHN, 80, DIES ON WEDNESDAY
Services for Pioneer McMillan Resident Scheduled Saturday

Herman A. Hahn, who would have been 81 years old next Monday and who was a resident of the McMillan community since 1881, died at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at a Wausau hospital. Old age complications caused his death.

After noon on Friday the body will lie in state at the Rembs Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock. The Rev. G. M. Krueger also will conduct the 2 o'clock service at Immanuel Lutheran Church and interment will be made in Hillside cemetery.

Herman August G. Hahn was born Oct. 9, 1864, in the Town of Lima, Sheboygan County, and grew to manhood in that community. He attended school in Sheboygan Falls, and was employed in that vicinity before coming to McMillan in 1881.

He worked in logging mills in the earlier years and engaged in farming until retiring in 1937. Before going to Wausau he lived with his daughter, Mrs. Frank Kaholka, route 4, Marshfield.

He was married Sept. 13, 1885 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in McMillan to Bertha Schallock, who preceded him in death July 4, 1940.

Surviving are 11 children, Mrs. Charles (Della) Sherman, Milwaukee; Fred and Robert Hahn, both of route 4; Leonard Hahn and Mrs. George (Dorothy) Jacobs, Milwaukee; Walter Hahn, South Milwaukee; Arthur Hahn, West Allis; Mrs. Anton (Minnie) Nesta, Mrs. Raymond (Bertha) Busse, and Mrs. Cyrus (Sarah) Hackert, all of Milwaukee; and Mrs. Frank (Louise) Kaholka, route 4.
