BROOKLYN -- Carl W. "Happy" Heck, 75, of Brooklyn, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 1989 in Jackson.
He was born Feb. 7, 1914, to Fremont and Lottie (Miller) Heck.
Mr. Heck had lived in the Brooklyn area since he was seven years old.
He married the former Eileen DesErmia Jan. 27, 1940, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Hazel Whelan and Fay Holland of Brooklyn; one brother, Delbert Heck of Jackson; many nieces and nephews; and special friends of the family Doug and Anna Maye Snyder and family, and Dale and Terry Johnson and family, all of Brooklyn.
Funeral services will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at Braun Bros. Funeral Home in Brooklyn, Stanley Blowers officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Shade Cemetery, Onsted.
