Buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. At the time of his death it was the Depression, money was tight, and his brother Walter gave his widow his plot to bury her husband.

William T. Barden, 822 N. First avenue, until recently janitor at the new St. James school, died last evening at 8:40 o'clock at St, Mary's hospital after an illness of less than three days. Funeral services are to be conducted Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. James church, the Rev.. E. P. OToole officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's cemetery. The deceased was born in Wausau June 19, 1880, and was married here about twenty-two years ago to Clara Golisch. Surviving are the widow; five children, Alfred Barden, who Is enlisted in the navy and who Is stationed at San Pedro, California, and Joseph, William Jr., Catherine and David Barden, at home; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ryan of Hamilton City, California; and three brothers, Frank D., Charles H. and Walter J. Barden of this city.
