Mrs. Clara Marie Barden,' 70, 624 N. First Ave a lnral resident morning at 8:15 o'clock in local j hospital. Funeral services will be j Wednesday morninff at 9 -3(1 o'clock in the Barden-Peterson Funeral Home and at 10 o'clock in Anne's Catholic Church. The St.iRt. Rev. T. E. O'Shaughnessy, pas- tor of Blessed Sacrament Church in La Crosse and former nastnr of St. James Church here, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in the spring. A Goy- rosary service will be held tomor- satur- row evening at 7:30 o'clock a! the funeral home in Mrs. Barden, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Golisch, was born Sept. 12, 1887, in Huron. S.D. She came here at Apfel-jan early age and was married in the city May 4, 1908, to William It. Baren, who died here in 1931. Mrs. Barden taught school in the county, mostly the Town of Kronenwetter, for about 10 years following her marriage. Surviving are thee sons, Joseph Barden, Madison, William Barden, 718 Broadway, and David Barden, Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. L. 0. Wilke, 2108 Lamont St; two brothers Richard Golisch, Milwaukee, and Walter Golisch, Lake View Dr.; five sisters. Mrs. Val Denfield, 2003 Rosecranz St.. Mrs. Paul Kuehl, 806 Lincoln Ave.. Mrs. Louise Voelker, 606 S. Second Ave., Mrs. Augusta Gregory, 926 S. Fifth Ave., and Mrs. Ben Van Vleet, Elgin, Ill., and 11 grandchildren.
