Mrs. Augusta Gregory, 80, died Sunday at a local hospital after a six week illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Peterson Funeral Home, the Rev. David Buzza, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate, internment in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gregory was born August 8, 1883 in Mitchell, South Dakota, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Golisch. She was married on May 14, 1906 in Elgin, Illinois to John Gregory, who died in 1955. She lived in the Wausaau area for the past 65 years and was a member of the Women's Association of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Gilbert, Wilson, North Carolina and Ralph, Shawano; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Farmer, El Paso Texas; two brothers, Walter Golisch, Lake View Drive, and Clarence Golich, Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Denfield, Wausua, Mrs. Louise Voelker, Wausau, Mrs. Paul Kuehl, Wausau, and Mrs. B. J. Van Vleet, Elgin, Illinois; seven granchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Children Gilbert died in 1976 in Wilson, North Carolina, Ralph in 1994 in Shawano, Eugene died in 1917 in Wausau,and Edith Gregory Farmer in El Paso, Texas in 1986.
