Mrs. Flanagan was born May 12, 1894 at Red Creek, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Rebecca Teter Bennett.
Her husband, Gordan Flanagan preceded her in death in 1949.
Mrs. Flanagan is survived by two sons, Gordan Flanagan of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Chief Petty Officer Wayne Flanagan, who is stationed with the US Army in Florida; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
She was the oldest member of the Grace Baptist Temple Church in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Funeral services were conducted Dec. 22 from the Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Moxley of North Carolina officiating.
Interment followed in the Flanagan Hill Cemetery.
The Hinkle Funeral Home in Parsons was in charge of the arrangements.
