Burial followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity.
Mrs. Corll died Sunday, 14 Oct. in Tampa, FL, the d/o Markwood & Lula (Strickland) Bearss. She as a graduate of Massey Business College of Houston and was employed as an Executive secretary at the Houston Power and Light Co. for over 25 years.
Mrs. Corll was a member of the Trinity Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #186, the First United Methodist Church and was active in all activities of the Methodist Group.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter S. Starr and Arnold Corll; and two brothers, Harold Bearss and Vernon Bearss.
Survivors include a son and his spouse, Walter and Linda Starr, a daughter, Maureen Starr, two stepsons and a spouse, Mike and Terri Meyers and Stanley Corll; a sister, Arla Collier, five grandchildren and their spouses, Mandi Meyers, Brandi Meyers, Sherrie Lynn and Mike Roach, Christie Lea and Roy Gilmore and Michael Wayne and Mattie Starr; eight great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Waller-Thornton Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
