Walter Scott Heath was the son of John G Heath and Sarah Kilgore. He was the grandson of Richard Blue Heath and Sarah Elizabeth Jordan. He married twice. First on 5 Nov 1877 in Hill Co TX to Fannie Hight b. Sept 1856 Carroll Co MS, the daughter of Louisa (Stovall) Hight and Christopher Columbus Hight. Walter and Fannie divorced and she went to live with her brother William Hight in Hill Co TX and later with her married daughter Ava (Heath) Jamison.
Walter Scott Heath married 2nd 9 Apr 1903 Jettie Morris b. 2 Nov 1879 IL, the daughter of Miles Morris Jr and Susan Elizabeth Mann. Walter Heath was a traveling cattle buyer and he and 2nd wife Jettie ran a restaurant in Broken Arrow, OK., later moving to Crane, MO. In 1908 the family moved to Monett, MO where they also ran a restaurant called 'The Right Place.' Walter S Heath had asthma and decided to go to the home of his wife's sister Bertha Barker in Clayton New Mexico to see if this climate would help his condition. On the way there he stopped in Hobart, OK to see his daughter Ava Jamison. He was ill when he arrived in Hobart, OK and became steadily worse, getting pneumonia. He died there and his was brought back to Broken Arrow, OK for burial. His widow Jettie (Morris) Heath continued to run the restaurant in Monett MO and remarried Bert Robbins.
After his death, 2nd wife Jettie (Morris) Heath remarried about 1914 in Monett, Barry Co MO to Bert ROBBINS. When they married she had one daughter left at home: Hazel Leoan Heath. This was a 2nd marriage for Bert Robbins as well. He had four daughters from a previous marriage: Katherine Robbins, Ruth Robbins, Edna Robbins and Mary Robbins. Jettie and 2nd husband Bert went on to have one child together: Bert Robbins Jr.
