Norfolk - Mrs. Janie Baker of 3110 Pioneer Ave., the wife of Joseph Baker and a native of Washington DC, died Thursday, Aug. 19, in a hospital.
She was a member of Philadelphia Church of Christ, Disciples, and its choir.
Other survivors include two daughters, Miss Gloria Godley and Mrs. Rosa Ross of Norfolk; four sisters; and a brother.
The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
