Married to the late Catherine (DiOrio) Accetturo for 57 years, they were life long residents of Providence settling down in North Providence where they spent their latter years.
Emilio was a painter with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 195 and was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II. He also enjoyed watching sports.
He is survived by his predecesed wife Catherine, his three siblings that preceded him in death, Michael and Pasquale Accetturo and Josephine Cunetta, nieces,nephews and great nieces and nephews.
As a veteran his burial was with military honors. His spirit will be missed.
