"SCHUYLER LAKE - The death of Sarah L. (Baker) Eason, widow of the late Henry O. Eason, occurred at the home of her son, Stewart Eason, at Schuyler Lake, on Monday night as the result of arteriosclerosis. Mrs. Eason has been blind for several years and for the past five months had been confined to her bed. She was born January 10, 1850, in the town of Richfield, the daughter of Norman and Julia (Stewart) Baker. She was united in marriage with Mr. Eason January 2, 1872, and for thirty-one years lived in the town of Richfield. They moved to Schuyler Lake thirty years ago and since that time she had made her home in that vil(l)age. Mr. Eason died in October, 1928. She was a member of the Universalist church and a woman loved and esteemed by all. Three sons were born to them, Norman and Harry, who passed away in infancy, and Stewart, who survives. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Wallace Starr of Richfield Springs and two brothers, Homer of Richfield Spa, and Herman of New York City; two grandchildren, Mrs. John R. Hauf of Albany and Norman Eason of Middletown, and five great grand-children. The funeral will be held from the late home Thursday afternoon at two o'clock the Rev. H. W.
