David Mark Hueben, age 64, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on December 21, 2012. He was born on October 13, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Mary Virginia and Alfred (Al) Hueben.

David graduated from the University of Kansas in 1970 with a degree in English and worked for IBM for 30 years in a number of sales, sales management, and technical support positions.

He was an avid amateur radio operator with the callsign KBØISS. David was also a member of the Elizabeth Watkins Society and the Medical School Dean's Club at the University of Kansas.

He is survived by one son, Matthew David Hueben of Texas; one sister, Missy Hueben Murray of Leawood, Kansas; two nephews, John Murray of Kansas City, Missouri and Geoffrey Murray of Leawood, Kansas.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Curé of Ars Catholic Church.

A private burial will be held at the Pleasant Hill, Missouri Cemetery.
