ROY JOHN "R.J." GUIDRY, II, age 26 of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 23, 2012. R.J. was born on May 28, 1986 in Houston, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Christian Faith. He was a loving Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson, Nephew, and Dedicated Friend to everyone he met.

R.J. is survived by his Son, Wyatt Guidry, Mother, Lorrie Guidry, Father, Hugh Guidry and Wife, Jessica, Grandparents, Wayne and Jo Chitty, Roy John and Sherry Guidry, Janice Guidry and Husband Billy Mosley, Great-Grandmother Laura Chitty, Sisters, Joanna Harless and Husband, Ryan, Brittany Guidry and Husband Brad Cross, Morgan Guidry, Hailey Guidry, Brothers, Cody Guidry and Wife, Emily, Hunter Guidry, Step-Sisters, Madison and Megan Munoz, Nieces, Bailey Poynter, Lanie Cross, Tenlie Cross, Lillian Guidry, Nephews Jacob Jamison, Ryan Harless II, Dalton Guidry, and Vincent Infante. He is also survived by his loving cousin and caregiver, Brandy Michelle Guidry and Honorary Brothers, Ryan Smith and Eric Sanders, and Mentor David "Tap" Toney as well as numerous other family, friends, and Shipmates.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Scott Funeral Home.
