MRS. ELIZABETH D. McCLAIN, aged 67 years, widow of Charles G. McClain, of Blue Ridge Summit, died on Tuesday at the Springfield (Md.) State Hospital. She had been in ill health for the last three years and for six months, was confined to the Waynesboro Hospital, 27 weeks in the Washington County Hospital at Hagerstown and for the last six months had been at Springfield.
Mrs. McClain was born, at Blue Ridge Summit, the daughter of Calvin and Nancy (Miller) Smith and lived most of her life at Blue Ridge Summit.
After the death of her husband in 1927, most of her time was spent with her son, H, Raymond McClain, at Highfield.
She was a member of tha Sabillasville Lutheran Church.
Surviving are: two sons, Charles Edgar McClain, of Reading; and H. Raymond McClain, of Highfield; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Martin, Shippensburg; Mrs. Florence Arnsparger, of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Russell Brown, of Cascade,
The funeral will be held at 2 P. M. Friday from the home of her son, H. Raymond, in charge of the Revs. G. H. Corbett and A. G. W. Pfaffko
