Mrs. Catherine Freshman, widow of George F. Freshman, died Saturday evening about 10:30 at her home near Thurmont after a long period of declining health. Her age was 85 years, 8 months, 9 days. She was a lifelong resident of Mechanicstown district and a member of the Church of the Brethren at Thurmont. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mary Stitely and Mrs. Rosa Reed, of near Thurmont; Chas. H. Freshman, of Waynesboro, Pa.: Hubert F ** and Leroy Freshman, near Thurmont.
Funeral today leaving the home at one o'clock and services at Church of Brethren at Thurmont at 1:30; interment in U. B. cemetery. Elder T. S. Pike will have charge of services. M. L. Creager and Son, funeral directors.
