Eugene David Johnson
Services are pending at LaGrone funeral Chapel for Eugene David Johnson, 72, of 704 S. Union Ave., who died today of natural causes at St. Mary's Hospital.
Johnson who was born Dec. 13, 1908 in Boswell, Ind., to Mr. and Mrs. David H. (Mable Baugher) Johnson of Sacramento, Calif. He was married April 16, 1930, in Pueblo, Colo., to Gladys A. Short, who survives him at the home.
A 44-year Roswell resident, Johnson was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his father, David H. Johnson, of Sacramento, Calif.; two sons, David L. Johnson of El Paso, Texas and Eugene W. Johnson of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Dale Johnson of Canon City, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Truan of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Inez Pryor of Canon City, Colo., and five grandchildren.
