MEBANE- Mrs Margaret McAdams Shanklin of Mebane went home to be with her Lord and Savior at Edgewood Place, Burlington, on Sunday, March 28, 2004 at 8 p.m.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to everyone. Her smile touched many hearts. She was a native of Orange County and the daughter of the late Lytle and Neppie McAdams and the wife of the late Walter Shanklin. She was a lifelong member of Hebron United Methodist Church and a charter member of the United Methodist Women. She was a tax lister in Orange County for many years.
She was the mother of two children, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Edgewood place for the live and support they have given. Mama, even though you have gone to be with the Lord, your spirit and memories, and especially your smile will always be living within our hearts. WE LOVE YOU!
