Gregg W. Bogumill, 26, of 407 N. Cherry Ave. died of respiratory failure at 10:20 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, where he had been admitted Oct 1. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at RembsKundinger Chapel. The Rev. Leonard G. Kaiser of St John's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. There will be no pallbearers. Memorial may be given in his name to the family. A memorial will be designated at a later date. Visitation will be at Rembs Kundinger Chapel after 4 p.m. Thursday and on Friday until time of services. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. He was born Dec. 10, 1961, in Marshfield, to William and Sylvia Bogumill. He attended the Child Development Center, Madison Elementary School, the Norwood Day Services. He is survived by his parents, William and Sylvia Bogumill of Marshfield; one brother, Gary of Miramar, Fla.; and four sisters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Cheryl) Polster of Amherst, Gail Bogumill of Holywood, Fla., and Vickie Bogumill and Tammy Bogumill, both of Marshfield. He was predeceased by his grandparents.

Because of his disability Gregg was extremely limit in what he could do but his family included him in everything. His favorite holiday was Halloween. Doctors told his parents he would probably never past the age of 12 or 13 but lived to 26. The only explanation was love.
