Mrs. WALTER BRIDGES
Mrs. WALTER BRIDGES, nee VIOLA CLARE THOMAS, died suddenly at her home in Dallas Tuesday morning after an illness of several weeks. She had been visiting her mother, Mrs. ADDIE THOMAS in Gainesville, and only returned home. She was 29 years old. She was formerly an employee of the local Bell Telephone Co. Besides her husband who is an employee of the Hubig Tire Co. at Dallas, she is survived by her son about 9 years old, her mother Mrs. Addie Thomas of 223 Craven St.; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. BATES and Mrs. A. A. PARKER of Gainesville; four brothers, F. C., A. B., and WESLEY THOMAS of Gainesville and A. C. THOMAS of Sanger. The remains will be brought here Wednesday morning, taken to her mother's home on Craven St., where the funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery directed by G. J. Carroll. Her husband is formerly of Gainesville and a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. BRIDGES.
