Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Deskin worked at the Philblack plant for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 36 years. He married Dolly Broyles May 26, 1949 in Phillips.
Survivors include his wife Dolly; two daughters Roxanne Deskin of Beaver, Okla. and Debbie Hynes of Borger; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Leonard C. Deskin died December 31 in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
He was born Nov. 1, 1929, in Atoka County, Okla., to Samuel Wesley and Lue Zellar (Yandell) Deskin and moved to Borger in 1947. He worked at the Philblack plant for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 36 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Leonard married Dolly Broyles May 26, 1949, in Phillips, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Elaine Graham in 1972, two brothers and three sisters.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 63 years Dolly, two daughters Roxanne Deskin of Beaver, OK and Debbie Hynes and husband Derril of Borger, three grandchildren Josh Deskin, Nikki Flowers and husband Jeff, and Joey Hynes; and two great-grandchildren, Cade and Caylee Flowers.
Casket bearers will be Josh Deskin, Joey Hynes, Jeff Flowers, Vance Brown, Victor Brown and Rodney Sweet.
