They are survived by two daughters, Robbie Gene Harwell Rash and husband Max and Rosemary Harwell Grantham and husband Bobby, all of Eureka. As a youth, Rose was baptized at First Baptist where she attended church. In 1963, after her girls married, Rose went to Navarro College, graduating as a LVN in 1965. She worked several years as a medication nurse on Second South at the old Navarro County Memorial Hospital. Rose enjoyed living in Eureka in their pecan orchard. She loved to get outside and pick up pecans and work in her flower beds. Each year at Christmas she baked cookies and many neighbors and friends were happy recipients. For many years as a gift for her grandchildren, she baked a teddy bear cake at Christmas. She was a great prayer warrior and many friends received encouraging cards and letters just when they needed them. Her soft hands and smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In her words, "She has graduated to Heaven! "Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eureka Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Isbell, Master Sgt. Ricky Grantham, Todd Rash, Craig McCracken, Bob Blake, and Byron Ayers. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials made to the 20/20 building plan at Northside Baptist Church or to the Eureka Cemetery Association. Arrangements by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
