"EDMESTON - The funeral of Reuben Talbot was held from his late home on East street last Wednesday. Only the immediate friends and relatives were present. Services were conducted by the Rev. H. A. McKenzie and burial made in Union cemetery. Mr. Talbot was born in Edmeston, April 2, 1855, the son of Hiram and Sylvia (Cutler) Talbot and was a lifelong resident, a highly respected citizen and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
