Pearl E. Hunt, 72, of Keene, Albemarle, VA, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mann and Dora Cason; a son, James "BooBoo" Hunt and her 11 siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond J. Hunt; her children, Joyce Ann Shoopman of Stanardsville, Michael Hunt and his wife, Virginia, of Scottsville, Ronnie L. Hunt, Edward W. Hunt, Connie E. Hensley, all of Keene, Jane Morris of West Virginia and Nicole Lynn Gibson and her husband, Robert, of Howardsville; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 11am on Friday, September 12, 2008, at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville, with the Rev. Randy Golladay officiating. Interment followed at Riverview Cemetery in Charlottesville.

The family received friends from 7pm until 8pm on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at the funeral home.

Thacker Brothers Funeral Home of Scottsville was in charge of arrangements.
