Lynn Roy Hollingshead was the only child of Charles Winn and Minnie Hannah (WALLING) Hollingshead. He graduated in the Class of 1929 from the old Sherwood High School, then attended a year of business school at Argubright's in Battle Creek. Dad worked for Clark Equipment Company as Assembly Superintendent and Superintendent of the Upright Division, retiring in 1972 at the age of 60. He married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Martha MOHR, on July 4, 1936 at Angola, IN. The couple adopted two children: Linda Jo Hollingshead and John Patrick Hollingshead. Dad died instantly from the effects of a massive coronary on the day after Easter in 1987. In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated without a service. After a Masonic committal service, his ashes were interred on the family plot at the base of the Hollingshead monument.

He was a handsome, brilliant, buoyant, energetic, dear, funny man and a wonderful parent! He is sorely missed!
