Services were at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel for Elmer Adams, 70, resident of Eureka, who died Friday in Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. Jim Carraway officiated with burial following at Resthaven Memorial Park.
He was born Aug. 7, 1908 in Dawson, lived in Eureka 11 years, was in the grocery business in Eureka for several years, and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle Praytor Adams of Eureka; one son, Thomas Adams of Corsicana; one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Easley of Corsicana; six grandchildren, one brother, Pete Adams of Purdon; one sister, and Mrs. Erma Lumis of Navarro.
Pallbearers were Gaylon Blackman, Clifton Griggs, Red Rutherford, Douglas Hodge, Paul Chandler, Otto Baker, Elmo Guerry, and Tiny Chew.
