H. Allersmeyer Taken in death Wednesday

Harold A. Allersmeyer of 15904 L. Street passed away Wednesday afternoon in Tehachapi Valley Hospital.
"Al"; as he was affectionately known by his many friends, had lived in Mojave for the past 18 years. He worked as a Sanitarian for the Kern County Health Dept. Active in all community projects, Al was also a past president of the Mojave Lions Club. He was a sergeant in the Air Force during World War II.
Mr. Allersmeyer was born February 25, 1918 in New Haven, Missouri.
Survivors include his widow Anna; two daughters, Carol Ann and Alice Marie. Also two brothers, Elmer of New Haven, Mo., and Ralph of Germany; two sisters, Marie Nelson of Yuma, and Laverne Friedmann of Imperial, Mo. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Allersmeyer also survive.
Services will be held Saturday, May 22 in Stickel Chapel at 10 a.m., With Rev. Bruce Inglis officiating. Interment will be in Mojave Cemetery.
Relatives request that flowers be omitted and contributions to the Mojave Medical Center Fund be made instead.
