MEBANE- Eva Nelson McAdams, 100 years, 10 months, 20 days, formerly of Route 2 in Mebane for 75 years, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Alson Kennett McAdams, and the daughter of the late Fletcher Wade and Fannie Nicholson Nelson. She was a homemaker and was a lifelong member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
She was survived by two sons, John F. McAdams of Greensboro and Charles K McAdams of Raleigh; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was prededed in death by three sisters, Annie Nelson Brown Dunn, Matilda Nelson Williamson, and Betty Nelson Foster; and two brothers Sam Nelson and Willie Nelson.
