Larry James Brock died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 62.

A native of Walthall County, Mr. Brock had lived in Vicksburg for most of his life. He attended Woodlawn Baptist Church and worked as a service technician for Sears for 41 years.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his tractor.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy L. Brock of Vicksburg; two daughters, Shelly Brock (David) and Whitney Ann Brock, both of Vicksburg; a brother, David Brock (Terry) of Vicksburg; and a sister, Sherry Jarrell (Ross) of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Lee Stockton, Earl Brewer, Doug Jeter, George Murry, Hunter Vinzant and Glenn White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Vinson, Gerald Stampley, Edward McKnight, Richard Bounds, James Wyatt, Andy Rainey, Alex Stockton, Wiley Glenn Hambright, Mike Davis, Alan Harris, Luke Katzenmeyer, Bendel White, Jason Stockton, members of the Friday Morning Men's Breakfast Club, and members of Russellville Hunting Club.
