She married Alfred (Albert) Ellery Wichmann in 1880. On immigration in 1885 their last name was changed to Wickman. Between 1910 and 1913 the name again changed to Vickman. Albert and Doris maintained the Wickman name and were buried in Franklinville under the name of Wickman.
