Shirley Eastmoore Norton, 79, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1996, at Bradford Hospital in Starke after a sudden illness.
She was born in Jacksonville and had lived here since 1972, coming from Jacksonville. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Melrose.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Norton Sr. of Melrose; daughter, Shirley Louise Eady of Oxford, Ga.; sons, Charles Norton Jr. of New Castle, Pa., and David Edward Norton of Atlanta; brothers, Ray Eastmoore of Titusville, Frederick Eastmoore of Columbus, Ga., and Eugene Eastmoore of Palatka; sister, Virginia Washbon of Rockledge; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Melrose with Rev. Dale Warner officiating. Moring Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
