Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Trinity Reformed church for Mrs. Minnie Aalberts, 86, of Orange City who passed away at the Orange City hospital, where she was a patient after suffering a stroke in February. Rev. D. Lenderink officiated at the services.
Surviving are her children. Rev. Gradus Aalberts of De Motte, Ind., Gerrit and Alfred of Orange City, Edwin of Bemidji. Minn., and Mina (Mrs. John Verdoorn) of Orange City. There are 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Herman Luymes and one brother, George De Jong, both of Orange City. The Van Etten Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements and interment was made in the Orange City cemetery.
