Millard Bell Collins, 82 years, 4 months and 16 days of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life and entered into eternal peace on Wednesday morning, April 21st, 1965.

Millard was born in the Oil Center community of Pulaski County, Kentucky on December 5th, 1882, son of the late Powell and Rosa Dye Collins.

Millard was survived by his loving wife, Hattie Keith Collins, whom he married on May 2nd, 1914; five daughters, Hazel (and Sylvester) Tower, Hester (and Zelmer) Crouch, Hestelle (and Lee) Todd, Hilda (and Boyd) Lay, and Hestina "Mae" (and Lowell) Farmer; three sons, Herbert Collins, Howard Collins, and Hillard Collins; one step-daughter, Helen "Dane" (and Dave) Fiddick; three sisters, Eva Mier, Bonnie Dunckley, and Mrs Everett Taylor; one brother, John Collins; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Powell Collins, who departed this life in 1927 and Rosa Collins, who departed this life in 1935.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 24th, 1965 in the Chapel of the Denney, Murrell & Correll Funeral Home with Rev. John Kelley officiating.

Interment followed in the Ringgold Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
