Florence Edith Minnick was born to Daniel L. Minnick and Edith M. (Scott) Minnick in Wells, Michigan on September 27, 1903. Her father was a mill worker. Having been sick for a long time, Florence's mother died in February, 1904. Florence soon followed her mother in death, succumbing to pneumonia on April 30, 1904. Florence was buried with her mother in Lakeview Cemetery.
