She is survived by her children Koger (Carl) Lake, Randall Shealy, and Catherine (Stanley) Hite.
She was "Granny Weise" to her grandchildren, Kellie Matthews, Billy (MarthaAnn) Lake, Jessica (Chris) Warren, and great grands, Victoria (Chris) Cash, Heather Smith, Caleb Warren, William Lake, Corman Lake, Hannah Warren, stepsister, Ila Ann Nichols, and a special daughter, Ella Rose Lee. Many thanks to Mary Alma and Gayle for their love and care.
Her home was always open to her extended family, generations of neighborhood children and they all knew there would be love to share. To them and her many friends she will be forever known as "Mama Shealy."
She was a member of Leesville United Methodist Church. She and William shared in their love of nature, clocks, gems, and minerals, growing and sharing flowers and vegetables from their gardens, but above all her greatest love was her faith, family and love for everyone.
Services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday at Leesville UMC with the Rev. Sandra King officiating. Entombment will follow in Christ the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel and other times at the respective homes of the children. Memorials may be made to Leesville UMC, 510 East Columbia Avenue Leesville, SC 29070.
