He was skilled in electronics and could fix almost anything. He was always striving to learn new things. He wrote beautiful poetry. Glynn loved children, whether they were family or not. He lovingly raised his grandson, the son of his heart, Jason. He loved cats and could often be found cat napping with one or more. He was a generous and giving person, always willing to help as he was able.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Keith and James Reynolds and daughter Julie (Reynolds) Darrow.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Earlene (Johnson) Reynolds; 3 daughters Gari (George) Stinson of Houston, Texas, Shelley (Ray) Bailey of Eagle River, Alaska and Sandra Reynolds of Corpus Christi, Texas; 1 son Russell Reynolds of Corpus Christi, Texas; 1 son-in-law Lee Roy Darrow of Corpus Christi, Texas; 5 grandsons Matthew Reynolds of Irving, Texas, Aaron Darrow of Corpus Christi, Texas, Taylor Sharp of Anchorage, Alaska, Ryan Sharp of Eagle River, Alaska and Jason Reynolds of Corpus Christi, Texas; 7 granddaughters Heather Reynolds of Irving, Texas, Kelly Darrow Montantez (Michael) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ashley Reynolds, Erin Reynolds, Kristy Darrow of Corpus Christi, Texas, Quinn Bailey of Eagle River, Alaska, and Kayleigh Reynolds of Corpus Christi, Texas; 1 step-grandson Nick Bailey of Alaska; 2 step-granddaughters Trina Neason-Clark (Chuck) of Houston, Texas and Cara Bailey Deviny (Logan) of Spokane, Washington; 1 great-granddaughter Kairi Montantez of Corpus Christi, Texas; 3 step-great-granddaughters Kelly Simple, Brianna Texas of Houston, Texas, and Anna Deviny of Spokane, Washington.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Guardian Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Graveside service will be conducted by his brother-in-law Ben Johnson of Hempstead, Texas at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Tivoli Cemetery in Tivoli, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, the South Texas Children's Home or Windsor Park Baptist Church Mission Fund.
