Ledbetter, Paul Henry, 69, retired, died Saturday. Services pending. Mobley-Dodson. (Tulsa World)
------------------
Paul Ledbetter, 69, of the Berryhill community of Tulsa, passed away in Tulsa on Saturday, January 5, 2013. One of two children of Henry Herman Ledbetter and Jewel Irene (Varnell) Ledbetter, he was born in Mannford, OK on September 2, 1943. He was a graduate of Charles Page High School in Sand Springs. Paul and Nancy Casselman were joined in marriage at her parent's home in Tulsa on October 20, 1962, and had just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last year. Paul was an engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone prior to retiring.

An avid OU fan, he was all about OU and wore his OU attire just about everywhere he went. His love of sports prompted him to coach softball teams, including his daughter's softball team in Grove, OK, and at one time coaching a Southwestern Bell Ladies team from their last place position in the DD bracket to first place in the A bracket. Paul was also one of the founders of the Stan Musiel League for college aged players. The participation of his grandchildren in Berryhill sporting events assured that he would be there to cheer the teams on. He loved reading western novels and was known to be a super crappie fisherman. As a member of the SW Bell Pioneers group he participated in their help projects in the past and was still a life-time member of the organization. Above all, Paul loved his grandchildren and loved having them around him.

* He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew Wayne Casselman, and a granddaughter, Kiki Ledbetter Burdt.

Visitation for Paul will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7th and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8th. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 9th in the Mobley-Dodson Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, OK under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
