Sophia Isabella Jamison, daughter of William J. and Clotilda Jamison was born in Watertown township, Tuscola county, September 17, 1887.
Her entire life was spent in the farm home where she was born. She attended the Watertown school as a girl and afterwards completed the four year course in the Millington High School in three years, graduating with the class of 1907. She attended the Sunday School of the Watertown Center Methodist Episcolpal Church and also became a member of the church while still a girl and continued a faithful member until she was translated from the church militant to the church triumphant.
She leaves a large circle of friends, also her mother, and brother Willis.
During recents months she suffered greatly, but always exemplified a spirit of great patience and christian fortitude. She passed to the other and greater life on January 24, 1933.
Her memorial service will be held in her home church January 27 and will be conducted by her pastor Rev. Matt Mullen. Burial wil be by her fathers side in the family lot in Watertown cemetery.
