A life time Portlander and former Broadway Cab driver, Charles Farah, 64, died in a Tigard convalescent home Sunday.

Mr. Farah was born Aug. 22, 1906, in Portland. He attended Arleta Elementary School and Benson High School. He had been awarded a 30-year accident-free record with Broadway Cab Co. prior to his retirement in 1959.

Funeral will be in Riverview Cemetery chapel, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment in the Abbey.

He is survived by two brothers, Joseph, Lake Oswego, and Fred, Portland, and eight sisters: Daisy Wiggins, Louise Rockwood, The Dalles; Marie Oreste; Ann Mikkalo; Genevieve Hoag, and Lynn Leam, both of Lake Oswego; Jeannette Proffitt; and Delores Farah.
