Effingham is preparing for a swell wedding on next Thursday, the contracting parties being Mr. Dennis A. Begley and Miss Belle Deacon. The attendants will be Mr. J. J. Donahue and Miss Nellie Morgan. The marriage will take place at nine o'clock in the morning, the ceremony be performed by Rev. John Begley, brother of the groom. In the evening a grand ball in honor of the wedding will take place, for which elaborate preparations are being made. A number of ladies and gentlemen from Atchison will be in attendance.
