George T. Evans was found hanging in a coal shed at the home of his daughter at Belmont Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Evans was about 80 years of age. He is said to have been despondent.
Surviving him are his wife and one daughter, Mrs. David Steele, with whom he lived, and one son Jesse, of Texas.
