Charles was a life member of the Masons and a member of the Shriners and the Scottish Rite.
He was a football and track coach for 27 years at Richardson ISD, St. Marks School of Texas, and Newman Smith High School.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sammy Quisenberry and sister, Margaret Shaw.
Charles was survived by his wife of 47 years, Martha Quisenberry; daughter, Melanie Phillips and her husband Michael; son, Kendall Quisenberry and his wife Lynn; grandchildren, Amy and Emily Phillips, and Clark and Davis Quisenberry; sisters, Mary Samford and her husband Joe, and Glenda Sue Conner and her husband Jerry; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at the Sparkman Funeral Home Friday, January 14, 2005 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 15, at the Heights Baptist Church, 201 W. Renner Road in Richardson, Texas. Dr. Gary Singleton and Reverend Clayton Oliphant officiated. Interment followed at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
Any child whose life Charles touched was an honorary pallbearer.
