"The funeral of Mrs. Sadie Minerva Orndorff, wife of Hiley S. Orndorff, this city, who died at the University Hospital in Baltimore Wednesday evening, took place Saturday afternoon. A short service was held at her late home, 327 South Market Street, at 2 o'clock, after which the body was taken to All Saints Church where full services were held at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Malcolm S. Taylor, rector.
Representatives of the Ladies Guild of St. Barnabas Chapel attended in a body and acted as a guard of honor at the grave. The floral arrangements were handsome and numerous, especially the design sent by the antique club. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet Cemetery." The Frederick Post, January 15, 1940
