Thomas W. Hanley Sr., 77, of Bella Vista, Ark., the loving and cherished husband of Arlene, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Concordia Health & Rehab, Bella Vista, Ark.
Thomas was born Feb. 6, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., the son of William Hanley and Vivian (Martin) Hanley.
Thomas married Arlene Peluse on Aug. 4, 1956, in Chicago, Ill. They moved to Bella Vista, Ark., seven years ago, and Thomas was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Regina; and one sister, Catherine.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Arlene Hanley of Bella Vista, Ark.; daughters, Deborah Wilson of Indiana and Sharon Hanley of California; son, Thomas W. Hanley Jr. of Springfield, Ill.; daughters, Jennifer Worley and her husband, Josh, of Decatur, Ark., and Megan Hanley of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Nick Heath, Daniel Heath, YaVonne Hanley, Valerie Hanley, Lilia Worley, Abigail Worley, Owen Worley and Madeline Worley; and two great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, with a 5:30 p.m. rosary at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, Ark.
