Lemuel Cain Vinsant was the son of the late Henry Edgar Vinsant (1881-1966) and Ethel Cain Vinsant (1889-1976). The Vinsant's were from Campbell County, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Cagley, Lela Wilson, Ruth Roy and brother, Claude Vinsant.

He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict and was past commander of the American Legion Post #112.

He was a district director and coach of the Dixie Youth Baseball League and an avid animal lover.

Survivors include his wife, Dot Vinsant and five loving Children, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
