Services for Bertha Marie Murray will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Murray Temple Church of God In Christ in Natchez. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Murray died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at her home. She was 83.
Mrs. Murray was a retired nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alberta Trumgold Gibson; a brother, Albert Gibson; and a sister, Leona Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Levi Murray of Natchez; five daughters, Diane Patterson and Shirley Patterson, both of Memphis, Bettery Fitzgerald and Patricia Kendrick, both of Natchez, and Christine Jeffery of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Gloria Cue of Atlanta and Shirley Robillard of Baton Rouge; 17 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
