HARTFORD CITY - Sandra Jean Adkins-Trissel, 42, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Hartford City on April 28, 1970 to James D. Adkins and Esther M. (Hurst) Adkins.
Sandra graduated from Blackford High School in 1988. She married Richard Andrew "Andy" Trissel in Muncie, IN.
Sandra will be sadly missed by her husband, Richard Andrew "Andy" Trissel of Hartford City; parents, James D. and Esther M. Adkins of Hartford City; daughter, Kimberly R. Trissel of Hartford City; step-sons, Seth Trissel and Bret Trissel of Redkey; step-daughter, Jenne Trissel of Redkey; sister, Debra S. (husband, Lennie) Green of Portland; brother, James D. Adkins of Portland; and three nieces.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara J. Adkins.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City with Rev. Bobby Thomas of Full Gospel Tabernacle Lighthouse Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Hartford City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
