On January 6, 2013, Randy Dean Linschoten slipped through the arms of his loving family and into the arms of his Heavenly Father.
Randy was born July 24, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Dean and Emma Linschoten of South Salt Lake City. Graduated from Granite High School class of 1970. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Married in the Salt Lake City Temple to Sharon Greenhagen/Dalton in 1972. Recipient of the BSA Silver Beaver.
Survived by wife Sharon, mother Emma, sister Penny Ritterbush (John), sons David, Jacob (Cynthia), Jay R. (Cristina), Bobby, daughter Debra Bartz (Earl) and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2013, at 12:00 noon in the Magna South Stake Center (7731 West 3500 South). Friends and family may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, and Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to the service.
