If I had one word to describe my grandmother it would be "Angel" she loved unconditionally with empathy and patience.she lived her life by example and suffered simply because she loved... I miss her daily sometimes to the point of not being functional ......she was born in 1901, daughter of freed slaves,wife of Dan Powell ,mother to 5 children and 8 grand children. She is loved and missed.
