She was born in Muncie, the daughter of Edward and Eva Stephens Murray, and spent her entire life in this community. She was a member of College Avenue United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. M.H. (Juanita) Reynolds, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Ben (Rosemary) Stoker, Champaign; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Meeks Mortuary at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Charles Elson, pastor of College Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and any time before the services Thursday.
