CHICOPEE - Kenneth M. Moreau, 56, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born April 15, 1956, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Johnson) Moreau, he was a lifelong Chicopee resident. Ken was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked for the Smith & Wesson Co. He enjoyed being with family and was an avid fisherman and sportsman. Ken is survived by three beloved children, Joseph A. Moreau and his wife Brooke, of Belchertown, Nanci Myer and her husband Richard, of Statesville, NC, and Kenneth M. Moreau II and his wife Wendy, of Ludlow; seven loving siblings, Joyce Higgins, Carol Lawson, Michelle Ivers, Ronald Moreau, Cynthia Rainaud, Nancy Kellum and Brian Moreau; and nine cherished grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica, Chicopee. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Calling hours are Monday from 5-7 PM.
